October came in hot and windy, but that didn’t stop Just Doon It from keeping busy both on land and water. Between tool belts, wedding bells, and a cheeky new drop, this month’s been a blast!
⚒️ Back on the Tools
Let’s start with Jays, who’s swapped the fishing rod for the toolbelt (for now). He’s been back on the tools with his brothers at Doonplumb & Doonspark over in Yarrawonga. The mullet’s been tucked under the hat in quite a feral ‘ponytail’ - much to his brothers disgust, but don’t be fooled — the fishing yarns are still flying around the job site - he is addicted and literally cannot help himself.
💍 Wedding Bells & Wild Winds
Meanwhile, Kate’s been running at full throttle! Early in the month, she had the honour of marrying Kelsey & Kym in a stunning ceremony in Coomealla (near Wenty). The wind definitely wanted its moment too! But even with the breeze trying to steal the show, the day was nothing short of magic.
Love, laughter, and a few happy tears all around — the kind of wedding that reminds you why Kate loves doing what she does.
🚤 Saltie’s Spin with the Ladies
Not one to sit still, Kate managed to get Jays to sneak Saltie out for a run with a few of her Ladies with Tradies clients. The crew swapped their work boots for sunnies & fishing shirts and hit the water for a well-earned break after a big workshop with Kate on the Friday. A few tangles, a few laughs, and plenty of good banter, but only one fish on the board — but - they loved it out on the water.
