July was nothing short of a ripper month up here in the Top End. From birthday bashes and surprise reunions to family visits and fishy firsts — the team at JUST DOON IT has been flat out (in the best way possible, of course!) 😉👌🏻
🎂 Kicking Off with a Birthday Bash
Early in the month, the crew took a moment to celebrate Kate’s 41st lap around the sun — and what a celebration it was! The messages poured in, and Kate was absolutely chuffed by the outpouring of love. 🥹
In her own words: “Well blow me down like 41 birthday candles… I’m so humbled to be so loved. What I’ve learned is, the more you lean into who you truly are, the more magic the humans become you attract.”
We couldn’t agree more. It was a chance to reflect, celebrate, and toast to the year ahead — filled with more of what lights us all up. 🎇🍻

🎾 Central VIC Boys: A Wild Reunion
One of the month’s biggest “what are the chances?” moments came when two North Central Victorian lads from the same school year unknowingly booked shared charters… on the same day.
Damian Clark and Dan Watson crossed paths on Saltie, only to realise they knew each other from school days — from playing tennis against each other to having mutual mates and family links.
The kicker? Kate also knows of them - because they all grew up within 100km of each other but had never officially met until that day with JUST DOON IT. If that’s not NT magic, we don’t know what is. Six degrees of separation? More like two postcodes.
🥳 More Birthday Fishin’
Another birthday celebration followed shortly after — this time for one of Kate’s good mates. A day of recreational fishing, good banter, and plenty of laughs, it was the perfect way to celebrate Territory-style. 🎣Kate Youngs it was a pleasure!

Special shoutout this month goes to Sput and his crew, and to Peter — both absolute legends who backed JUST DOON IT with 2–3 charters each this July.
Their support means the world, and it's folks like them that keep the rods bending and the vibes high.
This whole crew pictured stayed at the Humpty Doon, came over for Lamb Spit and went fishing or purchased apparel - we are so grateful - hearts full - here we all are together at the Dundee Beach Tavern
👨👩👧👦 A Family Visit
Things got even more lively when Jayson’s parents made a trip up north, getting a front-row seat to the busy charter life. They saw the hustle behind the scenes — bait, boats, bookings and everything in between!
👶 Baby on the Brag Mat
One of the month’s most memorable moments? A baby barra on the brag mat! It is something to brag about, a 4 month old onto his first keeper!! It’s little reminders like this that keep everyone smiling.

From wild coincidences and birthday cheers to barra babies and booked-out boats, July brought everything we love about life on the water.
