🍩 Daly River — Donut Day 🫠
We snuck out for a bit of a rec mission to the Daly this month... and let’s just say the barra weren’t feeling generous. A big fat donut! 🫠
The water was sitting at 22 degrees — bit too chilly for the big girls to fire up. But hey, that’s fishin’. It wasn’t about the catch this time! Just good company, a few laughs, and a cracking day out on the water.
🥃 Whiskey’s Back — And He’s Park Manager Now!
Our mate Whiskey is back and busier than ever. He’s been smashing out the fix-up jobs around camp and has officially been promoted to Park Manager!
He’s the bloke making sure all our campers are comfy and sorted. If you’re staying with us, give him a wave, or a beer coz he’s earned it! 🤠
👚 First Barra + Foul Hookers Style
We landed Chelsea & Walter’s first ever barra! Ahhh What a day!
Chels was out there rockin’ her Foul Hookers gear, and reelin’ in barra like a seasoned pro. Big smiles, big cheers. Moments like that are what it’s all about.
📞 Phones Ringing Off the Hook
Tourist season is in full swing and Jays has barely had time to catch his breath. The phones are going nuts, and he’s been flat chat getting folks out on the water for a crack at those barra.
So if you’re thinking of booking — get in quick before we’re booked solid! 🫣
🍻 Old Mates, Cold Beers
Managed to sneak in a bit of down time at the Ski Club for a cold one and a yarn with Steve and Patti Rouget — old mates from Kate’s ActionCoach days. Always good to see familiar faces and spin a few stories. 🫂
