At Just Doon It, we reckon there’s more to a good NT barra fishing trip than just the fish you catch. It's about having the right gear, solid advice, and, most importantly, the people who’ve got your back. We’re lucky enough to have all that and more from some top-notch local legends who make our fishing charters run smoother than a barra’s belly slide.

Coolalinga Tackleworld – Our Go-To Gear Supplier

When it comes to getting the best gear for NT barra fishing, we don’t muck around. We purchase our gear from Coolalinga Tackleworld, and they’re always our first stop when we need to restock or upgrade. Whether it’s rods, reels, or tackle, they’ve got the lot. Plus, their team knows their stuff. No question is too silly, and they’ve always got the advice we need to keep things running sweet.

It’s all about supporting local, and Coolalinga Tackleworld has been there for us from the start. We know we’re using quality gear, and that means our clients get the best experience possible out on the water.

Reel Screamin Barra – The Mentors Who Helped Us Grow

We can’t talk about where we are today without giving a massive shoutout to Jarrod and Ursula from Reel Screamin Barra. These guys were the first to back us when we were just starting out. They took the time to share their knowledge, refer clients our way, and even team up with us on a few big trips. Their support has been nothing short of incredible, and they’ve shown us what true collaboration looks like.

Jarrod and Ursula live by the idea that it’s not about competing with each other, it’s about working together to lift the whole industry. That attitude has made a world of difference for us at Just Doon It, and we’re grateful to be part of that community.

Big Thanks to Zack and Brian

We also want to give a big shoutout to Zack from Territory Barra Sportsfishing and Brian from Estuary Escapes. Both have been great mates to us and have trusted us to support them as a subbie running some larger group fishing charters. We teamed up with them on some 6-8 bloke trips and it was so bloody fun! Whether it's sharing their local knowledge or pointing us in the right direction, they’ve been nothing but helpful. We appreciate having good blokes like them in our corner.

Why Collaboration is Key

In the world of NT barra fishing, the best way forward is together. We’ve learnt that the fishing charter industry is all about collaboration, not competition. It’s about building each other up and helping each other out, so we can all succeed.

And honestly, that’s what makes the NT fishing scene so bloody good. People genuinely want to see each other do well. We’re stoked to be working with so many incredible people who help make Just Doon It the business it is today.

Thanks to all our mates, mentors, and supporters for being legends. Here’s to many more great fishing trips ahead!
